- Sgt. Wayne Neal: For the record, there isn't one legitimate surfer that's done anything about it: the beer parties, annoying families, obscene language, dressing on the beach, taking over the whole ocean! Let me tell you this: if it doesn't stop - and I mean right now - the council will close this beach to surfing.
- Terry Wells: [During Len and Skeet's fight, voiced off-camera] He's got a head injury. You might kill him.
- [Skeet punches Len in the stomach]
- Sylvia Dempster: We've seen your house too.
- Skeet Wells: Hey, how'd you like my pad?
- Terry Wells: Beautiful! I had no idea.
- Skeet Wells: Well, tomorrow night you're gonna see it from the inside. I'll throw a real gig.
- Sylvia Dempster: Oh, how marvelous!
- Junior Griffith, Terry Wells, Sylvia Dempster: [singing] We're really at the ocean, Where the surfers are, We know we're on the right track, When we get to where the surfers are, We're never ever comin' back, Oh, no, we're never comin' back, Never comin' back, Never coming' back again...
- Skeet Wells: Why do they keep on buggin' ya? All the way out here? How much further can you go without drownin'? They always got to bug ya! They don't bug you, do they baby?
- Junior Griffith: [singing] I'm gonna ride - that glory wave, I'm gonna ride - that glory wave, I'm gonna ride that glory wave today, Gonna walk on the water, Like the Good Book say, I'm gonna ride - that glory wave...
- Len Marshal: Look, this may sound corny to you; but, I believe in surfing. I think it's worth protecting.
- Sgt. Wayne Neal: All right, I need a report from you.
- Len Marshal: He tried to run the pier and got creamed. That's all.
- Sgt. Wayne Neal: That's all? Is that what it means to you - another surfer breaking the law just so he joins a gang of overaged delinquents?
- Terry Wells: [singing] That's what love is, You're up and then you're down, You're full of sunshine, Then heartaches all around, Why does it happen to me? I must be a jinx, Instead of bein' Cleopatra, I'm only the Sphinx, That's what love is...
