The Title is based on the catchphrase of a well known eccentric tipster that frequented the English racing scene in the first half of the Twentieth Century. Self titled Ras Prince Monolulu,, would adorn himself in fancy dress and proclaim "I gotta horse!", as he strode around the racecourses, selling his tips. He gained notoriety in 1920 by predicting100-6 outsider Spion Kop as the winner of the Derby winning £8,000 himself. (nearly £400,000 in 2018). He remained a popular character on the racing scene until his death the same year this movie was released.
