After escaping the angry bees, Pooh decides to get honey the old fashion way: getting some from Rabbit, so after stuffing his face with all of Rabbit's honey, Pooh attempts to climb out Rabbit's front door, but becomes stuck! No matter how hard everyone tries, they can't get him out, so they wait for Pooh to lose weight before they can get him out. Then along comes Gopher who agrees to help get Pooh out and almost feeds him more honey! But then one morning, Pooh is finally freed from the doorway and ends up in another sticky situation-quite literally!—Dylan Self <robocoptng986127@aol.com>
- One morning, Winnie the Pooh, an anthropomorphic honey-loving bear, performs an exercise to improve his appetite, then goes to get a honey jar from a shelf. He finds that the jar is empty, but then he hears a bee flying by. Pooh follows the bee to a nearby honey tree and tries to climb it, only to fall when a branch he is sitting on breaks.
Refusing to give up his quest for honey, Pooh visits Christopher Robin to attain a balloon from him. Pooh intends to use it to float up to the beehive. Before doing so, he rolls around in a puddle of mud to disguise himself as a 'little black rain cloud.' When Pooh reaches the beehive, he manages to obtain a paw full of honey. However, the bees soon grow suspicious as his disguise wears off, then the balloon's string comes untied. After his balloon runs out of air and Pooh comes down, the bees chase both him and Christopher Robin away.
After escaping from the bees, Pooh continues his honey quest by inviting himself into Rabbit's house. There, he eats all the jars of honey available. After he is finished, Pooh attempts to leave, but he has gained so much weight that he becomes stuck in Rabbit's front door. When Rabbit gets Christopher Robin to come to Pooh's aid, Christopher suggests that Pooh wait without food until he is thin enough to fit through Rabbit's front door.
After several days, Pooh has lost just enough weight to fit through Rabbit's front door. Rabbit joyously summons all his other friends, then pushes Pooh from inside the house while everyone else pulls him from outside. Rabbit then shoves Pooh out with a running start, launching the bear into the air. Pooh then gets stuck inside another honey tree, scaring the bees away. However, he does not mind being stuck again because now he can eat all the honey he likes.
