The theme song sung by Vikki Carr is titled "I Will Wait For Love", not "A Nice Girl Like Me"
Miriam Margolyes's debut.
The only one of Harry Andrews's many films where he had the leading male role and got the girl at the end. He was in his late 50s at the time.
This was Desmond Davis's fifth film as director in a five-year period, and his fifth financial failure. Whereas his first and third films had at least had good reviews, his second had gone unreleased in its country of origin, the UK, and the fourth and fifth were scathingly received by critics. As a result, Davis's next film after this one did not appear until fully twelve years later - it was the one box-office success of his career, the highly untypical "Clash Of The Titans".
