Memorable for being severely strange, pretentious, 70s arthouse cinema.

I saw this titled as "Othon" at a repertory house in 1974. I found it impenetrable as actors talk incessantly of politics costumed in togas while a contemporary European city surrounds them! Far above my intellectual level and antagonizing my need to be engaged.
