This youth film was produced by DEFA Studios in the GDR in 1970.. The main character 'Robinson' takes his Abitur exams at night school and also works as a paramedic in East Berlin to prepare for college and medical school. He lives at least partially with his girlfriend Karin, with whom he has a child. But he has never told his career-oriented father about his son and the plot of the film actually essentially revolves around whether and how he tells his father about his child. More important than the plot, however, is the mood conveyed in the film. Robinson is a dreamer who escapes continously in fantasy, poetry and a life without any compulsion. This makes the whole movie cheerful, lively and light, which is also a great pleasure for the viewer.
