Sex & Nudity

  • Necrophilic tendencies by one of the main characters is mildly hinted at, but nothing explicit is ever shown. A character and dead body lie in bed together.
  • Head hippie mentions he wants to get with a girl hippie, they quip with innuendo back and forth about her losing her virginity as a "girl scout", nothing really graphic. A lame joke about tampons. Female character appears to be braless under her sweater.

Violence & Gore

  • Talk of previous caretaker killing his family and Satan worshippers.
  • Some people are shown being eaten but mostly it's just blood that is seen.
  • One person is dead and a zombie is shown gnawing at their guts. The scene is fairly dark so the blood/gore isn't too detailed.

Profanity

  • Hell. Christ. Goddamit, jesus, bitch

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The tone of the film is creepy and eerie, but not necessarily intense. The depiction of satanic rituals and presence of a corpse (albeit not too graphic) for much of the film may be unsettling to some.
  • Lots of talk of Satan and demons early on, ghouls creeping through shadows on a scary island with spooky noises. Characters dig up a potential corpse, which jumps up. Characters carry around a corpse, a ritual is performed. One of the more sensitive characters flips out in scary hysterics when she senses the zombies. Walking dead emerge from graves an attack characters, they look mildly decayed but not too graphic. Very eery sound effects.
