June Wayne's Academy Award-nominated "Four Stones for Kanemitsu" looks at a lithographer and how he creates his works. It's one of the most involved processes that I've watched, but it's clear that this man knows what he's doing. I figure that this practice takes an unimaginable amount of commitment and discipline.
The short documentaries aren't widely available, so I watched this one on YouTube (would we be able to watch any of the older documentaries if not for YouTube?). It's broken into two parts, but it's an enjoyable documentary. I wish that more people had access to these documentaries. Anyway, it's worth seeing if you get a chance.
