Good piece of work indeed. A crime TV flick in the pure Boileau Narcejac manner. A man has a wife and a mistress. He wants to get rid of the wife, but makes a mistake and, one night, when he is at home waiting for her in order to - you have already guessed... - in the dark...Well, he actually kills his mistress instead. In the dark he doesn't realize in the moment but only later, after he has already buried the corpse in the garden, in would be a cement grave made by workers he hired in that purpose.

Useless to say that he is of course surprised to death, when he realize his mistake.

His wife realizes too that her husband killed his mistress, but will she realize that he MADE A MISTAKE? How will she react to this situation?

How will he manage this terrific situation?

I will let you see by yourself...
