- Re-release under the title "Cruisin' High" cuts some of the more violent shots, such as the bullet impacts on the characters. This causes noticeable jumps in the picture and audio.
- One version under the title "Cruisin' High" cuts out all the gunshot murders, and a stabbing in a gym shower. The first gunshot killing that is cut however alters an event important to the plot. As the Silks are cruising in their car, a rival gang starts shooting them from another car. The Silks' car then crashes. However, after the crash, in the cut version it seems as if the driver and leader of the Silks, Punch, was shot and killed by the rivals. In the uncut version however, the Silk member named Cat shoots Punch himself in cold blood, because Punch had a habit of always picking on Cat.
- The cut version under the name Cruisin' High runs 98 minutes.
- An uncut composite cut runs 103 minutes.
