A case where the 'making of' short is more interesting than the full-length film it's talking about....

"It Happened Here Again" is a takeoff on the title of Kevin Brownlow's first film "It Happened Here". However, "It Happened Here Again" had nothing to do with this previous film but was about his later film "Winstanley"--and it's included on the DVD for "Winstanley".

Oddly, I think that this short film is actually better than the full-length film that it's all about in the first place! That's because unless you see this short and research about the making of "Winstanley", you'll probably be bored a bit my "Winstanley". It's only after learning all the incredible details they attended to in order to make the film look authentic AND how they did it with practically no budget at all that you realize how great "Winstanley" is--and that makes this 'making of' film about as good as you can get. It inspired, educates and encourages the viewer to appreciate the efforts that went into the original film. Well worth seeing.

By the way, my favorite part of this short was near the beginning when you hear that "Winstanley" was made for about the same cost as the opening credits for a James Bond film!! Wow.
