Quotes

JoAnn Hammil: What, are you quoting a book?
Amy Hammil: I see things.
JoAnn Hammil: Well, I'd like to know what.
Amy Hammil: Things I see.
JoAnn Hammil: What? You see him say "Stay at home" and I stay at home. You see him say "Let's move out of the city" and we'd move out of the city.
T.C. Hammil: Mom? I think I'm sick.
JoAnn Hammil: Oh, sit down before you fall down. Oh boy.
Amy Hammil: Looks like, uh, 102.8. Just before 103.
JoAnn Hammil: Oh, call the doctor. Tell him he's got pain in the lower left abdomen. And given the fever and the nausea.

It maybe painful to watch
24 March 2019 | by searchanddestroy-1See all my reviews

That's the perfect topic for a TV movie destined mainly for housewives in the afternoon. It is a story which many folks can indentify themselves in, this kind of stories happen everyday in every town and country. This is a so close real life tale. I have seen this a thousand times before but I am not tired of it. I would love to see a story about the opposite scheme, a woman deciding to quit her husband and kids. But I guess this very scheme has also already been told about. Lee remick is outstanding in this film. As usual.
