FOR WHOM TO BE MURDERED is a very low rent and obscure kung fu film from Hong Kong. It has a contemporary setting and involves a couple of bumbling lame tourists from Singapore who turn up for a holiday. One of them dreams about a brutal murder, shortly attracting the ire of the local mob who then proceed to attempt to kill both men to cover their tracks. You see Michael Chan Wai-Man on the video cover but he turns out to be a supporting player, an assassin who keeps turning up to chase the heroes. Said heroes lack any kind of screen presence or fighting ability whatsoever. If you combine the lacklustre direction with the pedestrian plotting and lame action then you have the recipe for a highly forgettable film.
