Sit-com meets Donahue?
jd3prod24 October 2004
This was a series that to some extent broke new ground in the sit-com arena as it split each episode into two halfs.

The first was a situation, dilemma, scenario acted out by the cast about family problems (such as the only one that I can remember "each family member wanting to have a pet but not the same kind as the others"). The second was a Q & A session with the audience and a host that talked about the previous scenario and getting feedback and opinions about how to deal with the conflict. It felt a bit like watching Donahue.

I personally watched the series because I was following Megan Follows' career up through Anne Of Green Gables and thought she did a good job. I doubt anyone will have the chance to see this series on TV anytime soon, let alone on DVD. And it might be jst as well, too.

Charming and cheesy

This is a nice little drama series with B rated actors but it's a feel good show and an easy watch, no complicated plots etc. It's very very cheesy and cringe at times but it's but has some charm and life's messages within the film. It reminds me of Brothers & Sisters but with a Christian theme.

The episodes are 23 mins long so this makes for very easy watching and the episodes fly by which is a bonus.

II don't know if it's deliberate but Roma tries to have an American accent which isn't successful so eventually as sticks to her Northern Irish accent after a few episode.

All in all an easy watch, feel good, cheesy, exaggerated non accurate plot lines but it passes the time and I enjoyed for the the most part.

need to see this show AGAIN

I would like to know if anyone would know how to obtain a video of the show. I appeared in one of the shows in 1980. I was on the panel of the show that was about college dropouts. I was attending college at the time and was asked to participate.

I have never seen the show that I appeared in. There was no VCR then so I could not tape the show and I was unable to watch the show the night it appeared.

If anyone would know how to get a copy of the show I would greatly appreciate how to.

Please respond to this site if you have any ideas to help me find a copy.

Thanks
