Harvey Weinstein is now facing another police investigation.
The Los Angeles Police Department confirms to People that it has launched a probe of Weinstein after a second victim came forward this week accusing the disgraced mogul of lewd conduct stemming from a 2015 incident.
According to the California penal code, lewd conduct is punishable by up to six months in prison, but the penalty can be worse if coupled with an indecent exposure charge. If convicted of both lewd conduct and indecent exposure, Weinstein would face jail time and be forced to register as sex offender.

5 Things to Know: The Case of Slain New York Jogger Karina Vetrano After Her Alleged Killer’s Arrest
For months, it seemed as though Karina Vetrano’s killing might never be solved.
Detectives investigating her homicide last August chased down hundreds of leads but got nowhere fast. That all changed Saturday when police arrested 20-year-old Chanel Lewis, a Brooklyn man, on murder charges.
The day she was killed, about two hours after she went out for a jog, the 30-year-old was found beaten, sexually assaulted and strangled to death in a park near her neighborhood of Howard Beach, Queens.
Since Lewis was charged with the killing, his family members have insisted he’s not capable of such malice.

NBC has ordered a TV pilot based on the 1967 Universal Television police drama series "Ironside", reportedly with some new, high-tech improvements.
The original TV series starred actor Raymond Burr as San Francisco Police Department (Sfpd) Chief of Detectives 'Robert T. Ironside', a veteran of more than twenty years of police service. who is forced to retire from the department after a sniper's bullet confines him to a wheelchair.
Michael Caleo ("Sopranos") wrote the script for the reboot, that could possibly see Ironside rigged with a high-tech arsenal of concealed weaponry built into his chair (?!) Executive producers are David Semel and Teri Weinberg.
Hopefully producers will cast an actor that looks like Raymond Burr, with the same strategy director Jj Abrams used when casting the new 'Kirk' and 'Spock' for his "Star Trek" reboot, choosing younger-looking versions of original "Star Trek" actors William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy.

Authorities have changed Natalie Wood's death certificate after opening a new inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the actress' demise in 1981, according to a copy of the certificate obtained by the AP.
The document was changed from "accidental drowning" to "drowning and other undetermined factors" and now also states that the circumstances in which Wood ended up in the waters off Catalina Island have not been "clearly established."
Theses changes come nine months after the sheriff's department renewed their investigation into her death. Chief of Detectives William McSweeney says that detectives still have work to do on the case, but that doesn't necessarily mean any more information will be forthcoming.
"We don't close these cases. These cases have active periods and more passive periods. We're moving toward the end of an active period," says McSweeney.

Los Angeles -- Natalie Wood's death certificate has been changed to reflect some of the uncertainties and lingering questions surrounding the actress' drowning more than 30 years ago in the Pacific Ocean off Southern California.
The document was amended earlier this month and shifts Wood's death from an accidental drowning to "drowning and other undetermined factors," according to a copy of the certificate obtained Tuesday by The Associated Press.
The amended document also now states that the circumstances of how Wood ended up in the waters off Catalina Island in November 1981 are "not clearly established."
The changes occurred nine months after sheriff's homicide investigators renewed their inquiry into Wood's death shortly before its 30th anniversary.
Chief of Detectives William McSweeney said the decision to amend the death certificate was ultimately made by the coroner's office, which has been instructed by detectives not to discuss the case. "I would just say undetermined is descriptive,...

The investigation into the death of actress Natalie Wood has revealed that foul play was unlikely, according to a report. In November last year the Lapd reopened the case of the actress, who died in 1981 in mysterious circumstances, but it has now been reported that no new evidence has been uncovered to suggest that her passing was anything but accidental. Chief of detectives William McSweeney told the Los Angeles Times that weeks of interviews and investigations have not uncovered any new information, saying: "At this point, it is an accidental death. Nothing has been discovered to suggest changing that at this time." However, he did say that the case is not yet closed as detectives are still trying to find answers to questions that were left unanswered at the time of the initial investigation in 1981. McSweeney described the matter as a "cold case" that (more)...

It would be very satisfying to pin down an exact cause to Natalie Wood's death (and possibly who else was involved), but it doesn't seem like we'll be getting that luxury. Not yet, anyway. The Los Angeles Sheriff's Department confirmed to E! News that there has not been any evidence of foul play in the iconic Hollywood star's case and it is still being ruled as an accidental drowning. However, they also stress that the case "is still being investigated and is still active." After the Los Angeles Sheriff's Homicide Bureau decided to reexamine the case of Wood's death 30 years later, Chief of Detectives William McSweeney told the Los Angeles Times, "At this point, it is an...

We have not seen any indication that Lori and Danny would be romantically linked. What the heck is the “Jersey Slip” and why do you need to be handcuffed to another person for it to work? Finally, what type of horrible police officer is Danny that his handcuff key is not on a key ring of any sort... and he only has one in his possession?...

Lori and Danny Handcuffed: Does anyone have any idea what point there was to this storyline? Furthermore, why did Steve feel the need to drop they key off the balcony? It all felt totally out of place.

Actor Alan Fudge has died at the age of 77.
The prolific TV star passed away on 10 October in Los Angeles after a battle with lung and liver cancer, according to Variety.com.
Canadian screenwriter Graham Yost paid tribute to Fudge, telling the website, "Alan was one of the most generous, kind and caring men I have ever known. Many of the roles he played over the years reflected that side of him. And then there were the roles where he got to go really dark and twisted - those were the roles that made all of us who knew him smile and applaud. He was a great actor and a great man."
Fudge racked up a large number of TV credits in his long-running career, with roles in Man from Atlantis, Eischied, Paper Dolls, and Bodies of Evidence, along with parts in Kojak, Charlie's Angels, Magnum, P.I., Cagney & Lacey, The A-Team, Beverly Hills, 90210, Baywatch, and Dawson's Creek. He also enjoyed a recurring role in family drama series 7th Heaven over eight years.
Fudge's movie roles included parts in Capricorn One and Edward Scissorhands.
He was last seen onscreen in 2009 with guest appearances in Big Love, The Closer and The Office.

Appearances are often deceiving on television.
Emmy winner John Larroquette, who wraps his three-episode CSI:ny arc Friday, says the same is definitely true for his character. Larroquette plays Manhattan Chief of Detectives Ted Carver, who first butted heads with Mac Taylor (Gary Sinise) over how to handle the media during a sniper case.

Last week, Mac's team found the body of Carver's sister buried in Central Park, and Mac began to suspect that Carver is somehow connected to the 15-year-old case. Larroquette admits that his character is not blameless, but advises that viewers wait to make up their minds.
"As much as it points toward him being [the villain], that opinion may be altered by the end of the episode," Larroquette says...

"Jersey Shore" cast member Ronnie Magro was arrested in September after getting into a fight with a man -- while cameras rolled for the MTV show.
Police Chief Thomas Boyd confirms the arrest to People magazine, saying that Magro, 24, was arrested for aggravated assault after he punched a man. Footage of the altercation will appear on the show, of course.

Gene Barry was a suave leading man in films and television from the 1950s. He was best known for his starring role as Dr. Clayton Forrester in George Pal’s 1953 film adaptation of H.G. Wells’ The War of the Worlds. Several years later he again faced alien invaders in the underrated sci-fi film The 27th Day (1956).
He was born Eugene Klass in New York City on June 14, 1919. He began his career as a singer in nightclubs and variety shows, and was appearing on the Broadway stage in the early 1940s. He made his film debut in the 1952 sci-fi/spy thriller The Atomic City.
Barry was also a familiar face on television from the early 1950s. He starred as the dapper western lawman William Barclay `Bat’ Masterson in the Bat Masterson series from 1958 to 1961. Barry also starred as Captain Amos Burke, the suave Los Angeles Chief of Detectives who would arrive...

Welcome to another edition of Gays of Our Lives. This week in Gool Theater, we’ve got some very good clips from As the World Turns. And yet, the show still managed to annoy me. Am I just picky? Watch for yourself and see. Plus, Good Times, Bad Times (Dutch) starts an intriguing plot arc, Roman risks his life on All That Matters and One Life to Live continues to astound and amaze. Thankfully, it’s in a good way.
Gool Scoops And Spoilers has the dish on the new gay storyline on Emmerdale, Kyle and Oliver each make a commitment to Nick on One Life to Live, but can they keep their promises? Plus, Ravi comes to the defense of his sisters on Hollyoaks, Ian is trapped in a dicey situation on Shameless (U.S.), the kids from Glee make it to Sectionals in the final episode until – gasp!
