Perhaps the most talked about moment of Electronic Arts' press briefing at Gamescom earlier today was the reveal of both a six-minute presentation and a new Battle Squadron Mode trailer for their highly-anticipated "Star Wars Battlefront" video game debuting on November 17th on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
With this mode you'll be able to jump into iconic Rebel Alliance and Galactic Empire vessels including X-wings, A-wings, Tie fighters, Tie Interceptors, At-ATs and even the Millennium Falcon. Aerial battles can be fought with up to twenty players and AI-controlled ships.
Gamers will be able to play as some of the most memorable characters in the original trilogy such as Darth Vader and Boba Fett. The game will feature a wide range of modes tailored for different types of battles, from larger forty-person competitive multiplayer to crafted solo player missions to co-op missions both off and online.
