The film has an excellent end, and nice moments, besides its visually high quality. However, I felt a lack of unity and consistence, with numerous parallel stories not being properly developped and being forgotten as the movie advances. While the beautiful elder romance is supposed to be the climax, most of the film does not lead to it.
