The old UK Pre-Cert VHS by VTC was cut by approximately 75 seconds, truncating eleven scenes of violence. A list of these cuts can be found online at movie-censorship dot com. These cuts were presumably made by the distributor, since the film had not been formally submitted to the BBFC, and home video did not, at this point, require certification (hence pre-cert).
The film was passed with an 18 certificate in 1985 for the Stablecane label, however this version was cut even more extensively, with a runtime reduced to 83 minutes.
