When IRA (Keith Knight) was being interviewed by Jane Beardsley (Susan Anspach) he performed a dead-on impersonation of Curly of the 3 Stooges. In an earlier scene, the Vespucci nephews engaged in 3 Stooges antics in the basement trying to stop the overflowing toilet.

The smooth segue between scenes in which the action in the ending scene is completed in the next beginning scene was used once before for a different reason in the TWILIGHT ZONE episode "Deaths Head Revisited."
