- When Rottenmeier and Sebastain wrongfully lock Heidi in the dark basement nearly leaving her to be killed by a bunch of rats, it can be very upsetting and later intense.
- The head rat and his song-and-dance sequence of "Ode to a Rat" along with the rats' attempts to attack Heidi in the basement are also very intense and frightening.
