The secret word used to transform was "superted" much to the displeasure of fans when they found out at a convention in Solihull in 1993
Though voicing in most of the series, Sheila Steafel was the only voice actor not to be credited on every episode despite being the only female cast member. If one of her recurring characters such as Blotch or any other female characters were not featured, her name was removed from the credits.
The original Welsh language version was co-produced and broadcast by commercial station S4C (the Welsh variant of Channel 4) in it's debut year in 1982. Though S4C's production credit remained on the English-dub version that was released in 1983, the broadcast rights to this dub were owned by the BBC.
Due to no animation costs, the English dub version was able to afford a voice cast of well known TV and film actors of the day.
