A dead body is found. The victim's papers reveal his name (Karlheinz Elsmann), his status (he had been unemployed for two years) and his address (he lived in a tower not far away from the crime scene). Surprisingly, a five thousand mark sum is discovered hidden in his belt. Elsmann's wife Marianne, who does not love him anymore, and her lover Manfred Bastian, seem to be the ideal culprits. But what of the five thousand marks?
