Kylie and Keaton went on to hold the role for over a year before the characters were aged and replaced by, Alex Hoover and Addison Hoover who became the first twins to contract the role. After 6 months and a handful of episodes Alex and Addison were dropped to recurring status and later replaced by Mackenzie Mauzy resulting in the disappearance of one twin.
John McCook plays the father of Ronn Moss, who is only seven years younger. McCook had to dye his hair gray to seem older when the show started in 1987.

Art imitating life: The Forrester Mansion as seen on TV was modeled after the real life mansion of series creators William J. Bell and Lee Phillip Bell (once owned by Howard Hughes) whereas the estate of their son Bradley Bell served as the model for the house of Brooke Logan. The backdrop shots of two other sets belong to houses owned by the Bell dynasty, though the belonging sets used on the show share no similarities with reality: The house of William J. Bell Jr. and his wife 'Maria Arena Bell' serves as the Bel Air Mansion of Ridge and Taylor Forrester, actress Lauralee Bell calls the Marone Mansion home in real life.
John McCook and Katherine Kelly Lang are the only actors still in the show since the first episode from 1987
Lauren Koslow and Zachariah Koslow, who played mother and son on the show, are also mother and son in real life.
