There are games that can really achieve what all video games strive for: the ability to make players enjoy the experience. Helldivers 2 is one of the titles that can generate almost unlimited fun with one hilarious moment after another.
With a very active community and sense of companionship, there are epic moments that happen organically in every new mission. This time a couple of players make a dive to reach a door before it closes, like Indiana Jones in one of the chambers with treasures. Unfortunately, this didn’t go as expected.
A Helldivers 2 Player Tried an Iconic Indiana Jones Move but Ended up Without Legs Indiana Jones makes some kind of cameo in Helldivers 2.
One of Helldivers 2‘s features, like a passive skill, is the ability to generate fun and epic moments at any time. The co-op third-person shooter obligates the player to work as a team to accomplish every mission.

Mortal Kombat 11 fans finally got their first look at the fighting game’s most anticipated Dlc over the weekend.
Spawn, Todd McFarlane’s superpowered servant of hell, is scheduled to be unleashed in-game later this month for all players and it goes without saying that the character’s debut gameplay trailer has sent hype levels soaring to all-new heights. Not since HBO’s short-lived animated series based on Al Simmons’ death and subsequent rebirth as the titular character has Spawn looked this good in motion and McFarlane’s promise that fans wouldn’t be disappointed is an understatement, to say the least.
If you haven’t already, check out the debut trailer above, which features fellow underworld inhabitant and Mortal Kombat mainstay Scorpion getting the beating of a lifetime.

It’s been less than a week since American Horror Story wrapped its hellish trip back to 1984, which means it’s time to do what fans of this show do best: wildly theorize about what next season will be about!
The prevailing fan theory suggests that Season 10 will focus on America’s obsession with urban legends. Here’s the math on that one: Last month, executive producer Ryan Murphy told TV Guide to remain on the lookout for a clue about next season’s top-secret theme. Specifically, he said, “There will be probably a big one in Episode 8.”

Like a mysterious parasite that infects your body and results in a demon-faced alien spawn bursting from your chest and rapidly growing into a murderous eight-foot creature, the Alien franchise has made its presence known over the past 30-something years, itself spawning a number of sequels (Aliens, Alien 3, Alien: Resurrection), crossovers and 2012's it's-not-a-prequel-but-really-it's-a-prequel, Prometheus.
If you've never seen Prometheus -- or if you saw Prometheus, hated Prometheus and had a sort of Ptsd reaction to Prometheus that now renders you incapable of remembering anything that happened in that movie -- you may think the latest installment, Alien: Covenant, is not for you. “Herschell Gordon Lewis is the man who put red meat into the American cinematic diet. Ultimately Herschell made Quentin Tarantino possible.” – Joe Bob Briggs
Herschell Gordon Lewis’ masterpiece Blood Feast (1963) was the stomach churning movie by “The Godfather of Gore” that opened the floodgates to the countless blood and slasher movie that followed since its release over fifty years ago. Blood Feast was a midnight movie drive-In mainstay for years. No Punches were pulled and no organs left inside in Blood Feast. This film was a true classick in every sense of the word. Remember this was the mid 60’s folks. Sure the effects were cheap & fake, but the bad intentions were there from the get go. Gotta love that Mr. Lewis. 2,000 Maniacs, The Wizard Of Gore, The Gore-gore Girls, and Color Me Blood Red – he cranked ’em out with no shame. If you've been patiently waiting for a fifth Indiana Jones movie then you're going to have to keep waiting, as the famed franchise really isn't on the list of priorities that Kathleen Kennedy is overseeing. She was interviewed by THR about how the movie is coming along, and asked when we'll ever see it.
But apparently everyone only cares about one thing. . . one thing that took place in a galaxy far, far away. . .
"We're all trying to figure out when the right time is to step back in. Harrison really wants to do it; Steven really wants to do it. We've kicked around a couple of story ideas, but beyond that, I don't know yet. I think there will be one, we'll certainly move forward with Indy. But right now, everybody's just focused on Star Wars."

The talented and prolific team at Rip (Rest In Pieces) Workshop specializes in incredibly detailed and lifelike heads and mods for action figures from a wide spectrum of genres and media. Obviously their first love is horror, as instantly evident in their amazing renderings of iconic characters from all our favorite horror films, shows, comics and games – as well as some surprising cult obscurities (the killer's mask from the 1983 Canadian slasher Curtains may be a first in action figures), and even a few one-of-a-kind horror twists on non-horror names (including a zombie variant on Kane from Alien – in his Nostromo spacesuit, no less). A dozen talented sculptors and painter "8-Bit" have turned out legions of customized 1/6 scale heads, and their galleries also include a variety of full-body sculpts and dioramas. While they don't have an official site as of this writing, Rip's Facebook is packed to overflowing with jaw-dropping images of their work,...

After this game-changing fourth season finale, nothing — and no one — is ever going to be the same in Mystic Falls.
Before I start talking about the May 16 season finale of The Vampire Diaries, I need to offer this disclaimer: I’m just as confused as the rest of you, as the final two minutes of this episode blew my mind into tiny little pieces. The Vampire Diaries returned this week with fresh heartbreak and new alliances. What did you think of "After School Special?"

-------------------------------------------
What was your favorite scene or quote from the episode?
Matt: His relationship with Jeremy is now Complicated? He understand why the Hybrids found Klaus "annoying." He wants Elena to drop everything (pants especially!) and book it to the cabin? Yeah. There weren't enough great Damon Salvatore quotes to list in this space.
Dan: My favorite moment was that phone call. I love you. Yup, they got me again. Right at the heart strings.
Miranda: A lot of felt underwhelming compared to how things were left with the winter finale.

I always found it interesting that actress Patty Shepard was from Greenville, South Caroline, my father’s hometown, and wondered how she ended up in Europe co-starring alongside Paul Naschy and others in a string of cult horror films. She moved to Spain at 18 to study philosophy and ended up living there the remainder of her life. She started as a model and worked in Spanish television before moving into film. Like Barabra Steele, Shepard had a face that could embody both innocence and evil at the same time and her first horror film was with Naschy in Assignment Terror (1970). The role cult fans best remember her for was as Wandesa D¡rvula de Nadasdy in Werewolf Vs. Vampire Woman (1971) the second film featuring Naschy’s doomed werewolf character, Waldemar Daninsky (I have the paperback tie-in novel). Other horror credits for Ms Shepard include Hannah Queen Of The Vampires (1973), Rest In Pieces...

Unlike its predecessor, The Expendables 2 gave me what I wanted almost immediately: impressive explosions, a frying pan used as a deadly weapon and an airborne motorcycle crashing into a helicopter. In a sequel that doesn't take itself too seriously, Barney Ross (Sylvester Stallone) and his band of muscle-bound misfits are ordered by the mysterious Mr. Church (Bruce Willis) to break into an explosive-rigged safe, which should be a cakewalk. However, after a member of the group is killed by the villainous - wait for it - Vilain (delightfully played by a preening Jean-Claude Van Damme), the gang sets out for revenge,...

Plus, the vampire who dug up Russell finally comes forward! (Warning: So many major spoilers ahead.) After nearly seven weeks of incessant name dropping, Lilith finally appeared in the flesh July 22 on True Blood — or did she? Russell Edgington (Denis O'Hare) and his newly assembled Authority certainly seemed to think so, but it turns out their precious Jesus vampire isn't everything they dreamt she'd be. In fact, she was literally a dream! The whole mess got started with five little words from Salomé (Valentina Cervi) we've been dying to hear: "I dug up Russell Edgington." So apparently when she's not having sex, she's unearthing pissed-off vampires. Salomé then retrieved the blood of Lilith, which she revealed was not merely symbolic, and offered it as a friendly snack to share among her constituents. Most complied, including a very reluctant Bill (Stephen Moyer) and Eric (Alexander Skarsgard), except for Chancellor Braun (Christopher Heyerdahl...

So, with that in mind, following is this week’s list of Marvel titles dropping this week for your reading pleasure.
Among the ones I’m most interested in are the new Dark Avengers #9, Deadpool #12, Punisher #9 and X-Factor #48. But as always, check out the full list here from the official Marvel press release. Plus we’ve also got some cool cover art for you after the jump as ell. Enjoy.
Hey there True Believers, here’s your official list of comic books, collections and posters arriving in comic stores on September 16th, 2009. For more information on any of these titles, and on upcoming mighty Marvel releases, please visit http://www.marvel.com...
