- The Hong Kong version excludes two scenes of Biao visiting the psychiatrist.
- The Japanese theatrical cut is the longest presentation of the film, as it features all footage from both the Hong Kong (e.g. infiltration of the drug lab) and international (e.g. psychiatrist scenes) versions. It features outtakes during the end credits rather than the coming and goings at the factory.
- The international English version contains two scenes of Biao visiting the psychiatrist that were missing from the Hong Kong version, but it is, in turn, missing footage: -A waiter asks Nancy if she wants to use the male toilet. -Luke singing at two points during the scenes at the fishpond. -Some of the final courtroom scene (also re-ordered). -The trio's discreet entry into the factory. -The butterfly kick in slow motion.
