Photographer Harry Friberg solves crimes with his good friend, Detective Inspector Vesper Johnson. Nice views of 1940's Stockholm, and the main characters enjoying lavish meals are vital ingredients. A young Alexander Skarsgård can be spotted in a couple of scenes. Many good, famous Swedish actors. But they can't save the hopelessly overcomplicated twists and turns of the plot. Still it's fun to watch, if you're a history buff or into crime stories.

A pre-Wallander and Larsson TV-crime
systersister30 July 2017
This is one of the first Swedish crime series. 10-15 years before Wallander et al. It take place in the fifties and is an excellent piece of television drama. Good acting and direction. Wonderful screenplay and music. Some of Swedens best actor at the time is involved. Alexander Skargård is a naughty boy in the film. Now he is Tarzan.
