Pedro works as a publicity photographer in Santiago of Chile, during Pinochet's dictatorship, it's the mid 1980's. His brother was detained by security forces due to his political stand. Pedro tries to collect pieces of information about his brother's whereabouts.During that process, his own life is being torn into pieces. An intense, silent search for a country's painful past. Filmed during the last stage of the military government, Imagen Latente was starred by actors widely known for their work in soap operas. Bodenhofer is great as an anguished man, Gloria Munchmeyer is superb in her portrayal of a former political prisoner.
