We deal here with no more nor less than a modern western, speaking of a man just released from jail who comes back to a small Texas town to get revenge against those who sent him in the can. We have seen this a thousand of times before; nothing new so far. Typical American country side drama. This is also the study of a small community, moren than a character study. Very interesting scheme, where the audience is shaken, watching a total reverse story. At the beginning a bully terrorizes the community, at a scale that everyone in the town, and also in the audience, whishes him to die. The he is killed in front of everyone and a prosecutor, also from the little town, tries to find the truth and bring the perpetrators to justice. So, to summarize, the man against everyone in the beginning becomes another one further in the story. I won't spoil any further this very unusual TV movie. Typical American atmosphere, but we could watch it in the French TV movie or series industry from time to time too.
