QUESTION for Crime Buffs & Fans of this Show!?!
collector_00716 February 2004
I loved this show and one episode stands out about a physician who fell in love with a Street Walker. He was "slumming it" - hanging out with a prostitute by night and doctoring by day. She even got him addicted to shooting heroin too! I think he even used his pharmacutical connections as a doctor to support their drug habit. He lived a Jekyll & Hyde lifestyle until the hooker (and her boyfriend) decided to kill the doctor and rob him, etc. I can't remember all the details of the case and I may have misremembered the facts but it was fascinating and intriguing case. If ANYBODY remembers the real life names of the criminals involved in this case or the title of this episode or what the nickname of the case was or anything more about it (example: where to find a copy of that show) please post a reply message here for me!! Thanks.

classic crime

This show used to air on late nights after the late movie and is forgotten today. Its a shame because Mike Connors (from Mannix) made this show very entertaining (at least to a true crime buff like me). They talked about real life cases like the Lindburgh kidnapping case (I still think that Hauptmann was innocent). They also had a story on there about a man named Daryl Parker who spent 13 years in prison for killing his wife and in all likelihood was innocent! Other shows included the Zodiac killer (never captured) and the Mob. Most of these topics have been covered before, but Connors made it worthwhile. I wish they would put these episodes out on video as well as In Search Of....
