This premiered in the Fujitsu Pavilion at Expo '90 in Osaka, Japan. IMAX Solido was the first motion picture system to present high quality, full color, stereoscopic images on a wraparound screen. The 3-D image extended in front, above and to the sides of the viewer. The viewer seemed to be inside the image itself. 3-D objects passed by and through the viewer. The film was a $32 million production (per the IMAX Corporation) with 3-D supercomputer graphics by Fujitisu. The film was hugely popular and was later exhibited at Expo '92 in Seville, Spain.
Included in the Warner DVD of The Hidden Dimension (1997).
