Of the 100-plus Sarah Young videos currently available on DVD, Volume One of her PRIVATE MOMENTS series stands as odd-man-out. It's an unusual, sex in the outdoors opus, with zero American talent for a change and a more personal "memoir" structure.
Opening is non-sex and memorable, a very lengthy credit sequence which we're informed was "Recorded live at Discotheca Amnesia, Ibiza", an unusual credit in itself. We see, in distorted (chromakey) visuals a dance floor filled to capacity of drunken revelers as machines spray soap foam all over them continuously. I'm a lifelong foe of discos and especially disco music, so I never had the pleasure of experiencing such sloppy abuse in person.
Show proper begins with Sarah in familiar pose, writing on her notepad. As her (substitute-dubbed) voice-over in German tells us, she's paying tribute to her mentor, responsible for her movies, career and even her fantasies, "Hans" (namely Hans Moser, her husband & Svengali, who uses Sascha Alexander as his stage moniker). This sets the stage for 90 minutes of all-sex cavorting by the pool at their lavish Ibiza mansion with a cast (including Sarah, but (natch) minus Hans/Sascha, who always remains strictly behind the scenes) of seven sexy performers.
