While Aladdin (Scott Weinger) may still be living on the streets of Agrabah, he is now engaged to the beautiful and spirited Princess Jasmine (Linda Larkin). "Al" and Jasmine, along with monkey sidekick Abu (Frank Welker), the Magic Carpet, the fast-talking, shape-shifting Genie (Dan Castellaneta), and Iago the short-tempered parrot (Gilbert Gottfried), continue their adventures exploring the world and protecting Agrabah.Written by
Though the series followed The Return of Jafar (1994) chronologically, it actually premiered just before the movie. So certain elements (such as why Iago was a "good guy" and why the Genie was still with them) were unexplained. The opening credits originally included scenes from The Return of Jafar (1994). By the third season, many of the clips were replaced by scenes from previous episodes. See more »
I like this show I remember when it was on at 3. There are a few shows that show they have something for each other/Genie and Iago are themselves funny silly sarcastic and loud i love that! Abysmal is an idiot he just wants the hat/My favorite episode are do the rat thing and all the sadira one turning into a rat and Iago into a lizard. Sadara was in 4 episodes she created a sand monster switch places with jasmine turned Aladdin into a dragon slayer met the witches of the sand and don't eat her soup unless you want to be an hour glass like Iago heheh. Jafar did come back in 2000 something he teamed up with hades Disney decided to do 8 more shows before finishing the series. This is one of my favorite shows!
