Not many. But one thing was sure even back then -- he would never have a hard time with the ladies.
"He is a sex symbol. Look at him!" a young Donnie Wahlberg told Et in a 1992 interview.
During a recent sit-down with Mark, Et's Nischelle Turner showed The Gambler star footage from the vault, in which he and older brother Donnie have a bit of a love fest.
In the video, Mark was equally as complimentary of his brother and former New Kids on the Block bandmate.
"He's always had all the girls outside the house waiting on him," Mark said. "But I get a few now, so I'm cool with that."

Mark Wahlberg arrived on our screens back in the mid 90’s with roles in movies like Basketball Diaries and The Substitute. Since then he has gone on to become one of Hollywood’s biggest and best known leading men.
His career has been one of the most eclectic in Hollywood, having worked in Academy Award winning films like The Departed and The Fighter, to critical duds like the Planet of the Apes and Max Payne. He has also had the privilege of working with some of the best directors in the business including Martin Scorsese, David O Russell and Paul Thomas Anderson, though he has also worked with Michael Bay.
Mark’s latest movie Lone Survivor, the story of a group of solider trapped at the top of the mountain having to fight out terrorists hits cinemas this Friday.

With the release of his latest film Broken City imminent, the Hollywood star talks about jail, church – and the advantage of real-life experience in acting
Mark Wahlberg lolls at the table in the hotel conference room, his muscled forearms folded across his chest, every inch the successful young buck at play. Seated beside him is a middle-aged man with cerebral palsy and a crooked grin. "This is Howard," says Wahlberg by way of introduction. "He's like my spiritual guru." Right from the start it is clear that the interview will not run along conventional lines.
On balance, and with the benefit of hindsight, I'd take an audience with Mark Wahlberg over most other Hollywood A-listers: the ones who are smooth like snake-charmers and the ones who are closed like clams. In person, by contrast, the star of Boogie Nights and The Departed is brash, bawdy and perilously incorrect – a Boston...

20. Elvis Presley
The King of Rock and Roll's movie career is both the archetype and warning for every single performer on this list. "Love Me Tender," Presley's first of 33 films, made him a even bigger star than he was when it was released in 1956. But through the 1960s, the singer -- more specifically his manager Colonel Tom Parker -- favored quantity over quality, releasing a slew of critically panned films that watered down his once unshakeable sound. The worldwide celebrity continued yet the results were now unpredictable.
19. Janet Jackson
A perennial television star in the 1970s and '80s -- remember Willis' girlfriend Charlene from "Diff'rent Strokes?" -- Jackson made the transition to film in 1993 in John Singleton's "Poetic Justice," a romantic road trip film featuring Tupac Shakur. Singleton's follow-up to "Boyz n the Hood" was a surprise hit, though Jackson chose to focus primarily on her music through the next decade.
