Frank Skinner has said that Fantasy Football League is "no longer required" nowadays.
The stand-up comic - who co-hosted the comedy football series with David Baddiel in the 1990s - said that there are currently plenty of other outlets for their style of show.

"Match of the Day 2 is quite comic, and there's Soccer Am and League of Their Own. Saint and Greavesey were the two pioneers of football comedy, but we continued the tradition.
He continued: "There's almost no serious stuff. Even on Sky they feel they have to do gags in the punditry bits. I think it's no longer required.
"When we were showing funny football clips, there was no internet. But now – just go on YouTube."
