A Really Interesting Talk Show!
Sylviastel1 July 2009
Alana Stewart will be remembered for being Farrah Fawcett's best friend and platonic companion during her brave, courageous battle with renal cancer. I remember Alana when she was teamed up with her ex-husband and star, George Hamilton. They were not only divorced from each other but remained good friends and hosted a talk show that only Hollywood could create. When I look back on the show, I think of Alana as the same person who is now going through a painful personal loss. She documented Farrah's battle with cancer and the two women maintained a friendship for years. I now know that Alana Stewart is not a pretentious stereotype of a Hollywood housewife. She is the person who Rod Stewart CBE and George Hamilton fell in love with in life. George and Alana's chemistry worked well together. Who knows, maybe there is still hope after all these for them to get together again. I barely remember the guests of this Hollywood Regis and Kathie Lee style show but it was memorable because it really allowed the audience like myself to see Alana Stewart. Recently, I remember watching Farrah's documentary where she celebrated her birthday and the successful treatment in Germany and I saw George Hamilton. Alana must be a great ex-wife to be on such good terms with George to this day.
