TEDIOUS AND SCHEMATIC FAILURE
J. Steed23 May 1999
This drama tries to be critical of the press, and in particular the yellow press. It completely fails in doing so as all the characters involved in the press are not more than stereotyped and all action schematized; the chief editor is rather a failed parody on than the portrayal of a ruthless man. Add to these faults in the script an only capable cast, ditto direction and a very annoying synthesizer that never seems to stop, and the tedium is complete.
