I remember this film from years ago. At the time of this films television release "The Wizard of Oz" ruled my life because it was so magical. I also loved ice skating because it was such a fascinating and different sport (or a particular category in "Around The World Skating"). When I heard about this I was so excited. I thought I would love it but instead I WAS COMPLETELY ENTHRALLED. After this film I fell in love with Oksana Baiul. We taped it but I do not know where the copy is. The film would be AMAZING on DVD. If you love ice skating and "The Wizard of Oz" anything (films or books) this will be your favorite film. "I COMPLETELY RECOMMEND THIS MASTERPIECE".

UNBELIEVABLE!

This was an excellent television special. Putting Bobby McFerrin in charge of all the voices (except Dorothy's) was a great idea. The voices he does for all of the characters sound just like the ones from the MGM movie (except maybe Glinda's) They should release a sound track for it one day. The skating in it is absolutely spectacular to watch! Any fans of the Wizard of Oz should see this!

I bought this movie off of ebay and it was fabulous. Bobby McFarrin does a great job at all the voices, they all sound like the voices from the original movie. The sets and costumes are outstanding. This movie is about an hour long. If your an OZ fan I highly recommend this.

I need the DVD!

My daughters found this on You Tube and are in love with it. They love the similarity to the movie combined with the beauty of the ice skating. They have always been fans of the music, so they enjoyed hearing the songs again in a slightly different format, and a slightly different opening to "Somewhere Over the Rainbow."

I've seen a few sites listing the program as "currently unavailable" in VHS format. But does anyone know if a DVD was ever made? With Easter coming up, I would love to include it in their basket. I am going to try CBS.com but would love any feedback or info that anyone may have. Thank you!
