Word-for-word remake of Mad About You
wendolph30 January 2003
This series was a word-for-word remake of the first series of Mad About You. The original is *far* superior, showing, I guess, what a difference casting can make even to good writing. It wasn't the fault of John Gordon Sinclair (who is a wonderful actor) or Kim Thompson (who was ludicrously miscast as Becky -- aka Lisa from the original), but it just never jelled, probably because the transposition completely failed to come up with British-cultural equivalents to the original essential New Yorkishness of the series.

See the original.

A nice, funny show that's quite watchable.

I found this show in its second series and I wish I'd seen it earlier.

It's an enjoyable show thats was most entertaining.

The plot is essentially simple.

A newlywed(ish) couple and their life together, along with their friends and family.

unfortunatly that description doesn't really sound like something that would make you want to see it, so it's best that you see it yourself.

The Characters are likable and the show does what it's supposed to, entertain you for half an hour and make you laugh.

And it doesn't hurt that the leading lady is quite gorgeous (She reminds me of a younger Hudson Leick)
