I would like to see thsi film on DVD
ECDeplois5 July 2002
This movie was well done. True to life with a bitter sweet romance of two people trying to find their way to a new life style. I enjoyed the performances of the two main actors [Yasmine Bleeth and Richard Grieco]. Well worth while watching. I would like to see it come out on DVD

Excellent movie, sweet performance by Yasmine Bleeth

Words just can't describe how I feel about this movie... it's one of my favorite. Even though I normally don't like romantic movies, I just love this one. The story is so sweet. Also, the story, the characters, the music, everything is just perfect and the actors (especially the main actors, gorgeous Yasmine Bleeth and Richard Grieco) seem to be made for this movie. The movie is not just a love story, it's more about dreams and despair, you won't get bored.

I'm a fan of Yasmine, but I think even if you are not a fan of her you will most likely love her in this movie. I think it's the best and most touching acting she has done so far. I have to warn you, this might sound silly, but if you're male, you'll probably fall in love with her when watching this movie!

Highly recommended - it's out on DVD, go watch it...

What a triumph!

This is a very beautiful bittersweet love story! What a great job with the filmography, and what an original story. I wasn't sure what to expect as performances out of two such "beautiful people" as Yasmine and Richard, but what they did was so sweet and real that by the end I loved them both! Can't wait to see more from Director/Writer Gregory C. Haynes, he is an inspiration.

Love, tragedy, then love.
Jon-11426 February 1999
A great performance by Jasmine Bleeth and Richard Grieco. Two lost souls who find each other in a big city, decide to seek out their fate together as they drive across the country. "Navy" (Richard Grieco) was to seek his independence and new life while "Rachel" (Yasmine Bleeth) hopelessly discovers the shelter her knight in shining armor can provide her. Their acting is well supported and complemented by a few others on the screen. Newcomer to the screen, James Ecklund ("Cole") exhihits a powerful twist in the romance and destiny of Navy and Rachel when he takes advantage of her gullibility. Ecklund defines how "looks can be deceiving" in this drama. He provides an outstanding performance on his screen debut.

The smashing result when bad writing, producing and acting collide!

What a pointless movie, too bad we don't know what the budget was! Not bad actors, although they aren't well know except for Yasmine. This is one of those films that should not have even been released, I can't find any information on how it did at the box office, but I am positive that it wasn't good.

Beware of what's in store when you watch this movie.
Pianoman-828 August 1999
This is a movie which starts out as a gritty, yet appealing, romance. Unfortunately, it has a very unsettling horror episode in it. If you don't like watching murderous men preying on women, skip this movie. I liked the movie up to this part, then I wished that I hadn't seen it.

Exciting performance by Grieco, but lacking in vision

It was quite obvious that this was a good screenplay. I was surprised by the intensity of Richard Grieco. I was also surprised to see the now famous Monica Potter. I understand this was her first movie. She was pure and perfectly cast. As for the director, Haynes...well done. I look for your next film in anticipation.

Monica Potter - "Saving Grace"
Geronimo-74 September 1999
This film really is not very good. Plain and simple - the two leads are best suited for television ( although Yasmine has shown promise since this film, see "Baseketball"). The lone bright spot of this film is Monica Potter as Lilly. She is radiant and shows wonderful comic timing. Of course since this film she has become Hollywood's brightest young star!!! Keep watching this wonderful person and tremendous actress, the best is definitely yet to come!!!!!
