A strange, surreal Finnish stop-motion short very loosely inspired in Franz Kafka's 'A Country Doctor'.
Unlike the Koji Yamamura version, this animation takes plenty of liberties from the source material (For starters, setting it during World War II) making an already weird story much even weirder.
At some parts, it managed to be even more macabre, even more bizarre than the original story.
That being said, its stylish visuals and nice soundtrack made this a very fascinating watching experience, akin to a dialogue-free absurdist play.
A surreal gem sincerely deserves a much higher score than just 6.2 here on the Internet Movie Database.
8/10.
