Maybe the best finish tv-comedy
harri-lehtinen5 January 2004
In northern häme edge of some village is Viléns gas station, Where you could fill up your tank if you find the place. Because new highway is taken traffic to elsewhere so there is no rush. Gas station has little garage and tiny cafeteria and residence.

"I get it cheap" is Sulo Viléns principle. He and His wife Emmi serve occasional customers on their own style. Sulo has passion to get writer and bar maid Ulla has sharp language, also their son Juhana works on gas station, who has difficulties to independent on his mother Emmi. Regular customer is policeman Reinikainen with his bicycle and who likes to drink mineral water. He get Emmi's nerve. Emmi worries also financial state of gas station because there isn't lot of paying customers.

But the ways are many even if must stop no productive gas station. Juhana has decide to move on his own - once again. Emmi start ateljee where she sew dresses. Sulo do whatever come his mind. Ulla gets out of work and her bicycle. Solution find out in auction when Sulo yell old farm to himself and you bet he get it cheap. Many things happens on the way in this point and after that. Laughs guaranteed.

Something tells the series popularity in Finland that, it is re-aired twice or Three times in tv. And finally in last year YLE (Finish broadcasting company) release whole series on two dvd. I'm maybe not wrong to say this is maybe the best finish tv-comedy. Also mention to that policeman Reinikainen came so popular that he got own series called "Reinikainen".

I remember pilot episode where is no talk in seven minutes of the beginning and that's almost a one third in length of episode, but those minutes are hilarious in whole episode IMO.
