Another one of Mr. Schellenberg's and Ms. Cardinal's good movies!

Warning: Spoilers
After watching this film, I saw how well August Schellenberg and Tantoo Cardinal played their roles......very convincing as always. :D But the thing to notice about this film is that even after the murder that was committed by Mr. Schellenberg's brother, he still did everything humanly possible to cover up for him although he knew that his brother ruined his own life along with the lives of the rest of the family. However, it took a lot of character on his part to defend him regardless of the mess he had caused, and to me that takes a lot of courage and strength since the spiritual bond of most Native families can't be broken anyways. Native families in general are very tightly knit and once there's a closely knit family unit, no one can usually break that bond.

The white "justice system" couldn't come close to breaking their tight family bond as well. Despite the fact that he did commit murder and that Mr. Schellenberg wanted to kill him for doing what he did, he put his anger and pride away for the time being until he cooled down a bit before starting to work closely with him on how to go through the legal system without suffering too many consequences for his actions.

But....... anyways..... this is why I gave this film a 7 out of 10.
