Our Boy is one helluva good film, a must see.

A very intense drama that shows just how strong human weakness can be. Ray Winstone plays the happy husband and proud father until 'our boy' goes missing. Then its only one road for him thats down. A great cast with Ray Winstone in particular playing with utter clarity. There is one scene that will rock you, bring the hairs on your neck up and a hankie to your eyes.I have no hesitation in giving this film a ten.

A Brit movie set in London.

A Big Surprise!

This under-rated & rarely-seen drama is a little gem. It's about the effect on an ordinary East London couple when they lose their only son in a hit-and-run accident.

But just as it threatens to slide into maudlin sentimentality the plot takes a totally unexpected turn before a climax that will leave you gasping.

Ray Winstone won the awards for a showy turn as the grieving, wounded Father but for me Pauline Quirke takes the acting honours with a restrained performance as his wife

See this one if you can.
