HOUSE OF SIN is another in an endless line of 80s porn flix that try to add a bit of entertainment-value in with the smut. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't - this one was relatively entertaining (mainly due to the inclusion of Mistress Candice) despite the minimalistic plot.

Long Jeane Silver plays a lady who experiences some car trouble and is stranded on the side of the road (of course...). Along comes Marbus (played by Robert Kerman, who many horror-fans will recognize from his well-portrayed role in CANNIBAL HOLOCAUST and several other Italian horror films, who's seemed to have a relatively prolific career both with and without his pants on...) to save the day. Turns out that Marbus is actually the son of the devil and he brings unsuspecting people to his house to do his sexual bidding. Jeane eventually freaks out after watching Mistress Candice whiz all over David Christopher in some light sub/dom action, but her escape will not be made easy...

Not too much to consider truly memorable in HOUSE OF SIN, except for maybe seeing Christopher take a mouthful of pee and then whack-off while Candice unloads some golden-torrents on him - and it's always novel to see someone that's been in some mainstream stuff do hardcore porn too - so Kerman's performance was notable and actually pretty well-acted as well. Only really worth a look to 70s/80s style porn enthusiasts - the sex scenes themselves are really nothing to write home about...6/10

Pretty young Evangeline Foster (fetching Jean Silver in a rare lead role) finds herself stuck on the side of the road after her car breaks down. Foster gets a ride from the sinister Marbus (nicely played with lip-smacking wicked relish by Robert Kerman, who also acted in several early 80's Italian cannibal features), who turns out to be the leader of a cult of depraved carnal freaks who reside in a spooky rundown house. Will Foster ever find a way to escape from the house of sin? Writer/director Carter Stevens puts a cool sleazy spin on the standard creepy old house fright film premise, relates the engrossingly sordid story at a steady pace, makes cool use of a gnarly bluesy rock soundtrack, and further spices things up with a few amusing touches of dirty humor. Of course, Stevens certainly doesn't skimpy on the raunchy stuff: There's a pleasing amount of fellatio, cunnilingus, lesbianism, straight copulation, strenuous three-ways, and sodomy (extra points for the squeaky bed springs with the latter!)). This movie benefits from a bevy of hot'n'sexy ladies: Foxy punkette Honey Stevens, the yummy Tigr, the comely Copper Penny, and, best of all, zaftig blonde dominatrix Mistress Candice, who provides the picture's best and most scorching set piece with her kinky S&M session with a simpering submissive male slave in which she purifies the guy with her sweet champagne (i.e., she happily urinates all over the dude). Enjoyable filthy smut.
