A psychopath in Hong Kong in the early 1980s

Full of twisted turns; three-dimensional characters developing through all men and women in the movie; a must-see for understanding HK's stuffed pressure live. Some street scenes would never exist in Hong Kong, and so were the night lives. This is not an ordinary HK film in the sense that it dug deep underneath both the specific psychological and philosophical aspects of Asian city people leading a life under untold mysterious pressures that seemed unnecessarily but all these did form a question of live and death in the asian cultures. As a result, this film though appeared superficial, but down under lies a somewhat mystic mindset of a great populations on a part of the earth.
