Warning: Spoilers
Also known as Friend of the Family II, this Fred Olen Ray film was written by Henry Krinkle, who also wrote Night Eyes 4, which seems like decent training for this movie.

And no, this has nothing to do with the first one other than its antagonist being played by the same actress.

Alex (Paul Michael Robinson) decided to have an affair with Linda (Penthouse Pet of the Month January 1992 Shauna O'Brien) while he's on business in New Orleans. Somehow, she had a better flight than him, because when he gets back home, she's already been hired as his family's new nanny.

Nicholas Medina is, of course, Fred Olen Ray. He's making his own Hand the Rocks the Cradle here, but that movie had more days to shoot, more of a budget and you know, more actual thought than this. It did not, however, have Shauna O'Brien or an ending where Alex's wife yells, "Oh my God! Where's the baby?"

I can hear you asking, "But did Gary Graver do the cinematography?"

Of course he did.

Different but kind of same
kosmasp24 July 2022
So I watched this before the first Friend of the Family movie. No connection other than Shauna - and she plays a different character here alltogether too. So it doesn't matter in what order you watch the movies - if you are even interested.

Interested being the key word - especially when it comes to Shauna. I reckon if you are a fan, you may add at least a point to my score. She bares it all (no pun intended and literally). It is not like you will be watcthing this movie for the acting or the story. Which I find to be weaker than the first movies story - but that is me.

A lot of mayhem unfolds here and there are scenes of violence included that are cringe worthy at best. But again, you are not watching for that. Or rather you shouldn't be watching for that.

And then it all ends ... well I would call the ending "bonkers" ... or really out there. I guess you could call it ... I don't even know what you would call it. I thought for a second to rewind to see if I missed something ... but I didn't care enough to do that - especially because I think that question remains unanswered ... it is a movie and I really could not care less about the big upset this tries to leave you behind ... doesn't fit with the rest either ... anyway, try to blend that out if you can.

Not actually a sequel. More like "Scorned".....A-
Smooth B19 April 2001
When I first saw this movie a couple of years ago, I thought it was going to be more of Elke dishing out a slice of common sense while screwing an innocent family's brains out. But this movie is totally different. I've seen it advertised here as "Friend of the Family II" but it usually goes under the name "Innocence Betrayed".

Shauna O'Brien plays Linda, the main character of the movie. She just broke up with her boyfriend and is on the rebound. Paul Michael Robinson plays Alex, a married businessman who seems to be away from home a lot. He's in New Orleans on business when he meets Linda and they have a torrid affair. For the next couple of days, they spend most of their time in bed. He takes off and heads home the next morning, leaving Linda a note. In short, it says, "Thanks for the memories." She's crying now, because she thought she really loved this guy. Unfortunately, Alex leaves something behind that would soon lead Linda to come find him.

Meanwhile, back in San Francisco, Alex is at home with his wife Maddy and their young son, and everything is going along fine. Oops, Maddy feels like going back to work again. Now, Maddy needs to hire a babysitter. After several applicants, guess who shows up and gets the job?

You guessed it. Linda.

Of course, Alex doesn't know this....yet. But once he finds out, Linda threatens to tell his wife and......oh boy! The sparks fly after that.

This movie had more in common with "Scorned" than the first "Friend of the Family". After comparing Shauna's "Linda" to Shannon Tweed's "Amanda" the stories are similar: Both got screwed by a man and now getting their sweet revenge by sleeping with either him or members of his family. The only twist is in this movie, Linda is using blackmail.

Once again, this movie is written in a way if you took out some of the sex scenes and put A-list talent in the roles, it could do well as a major motion picture.

I enjoyed this movie from beginning to end, although the ending left a lot to be desired.

For the "I don't owe her anything" crowd
TokyoGyaru2 May 2023
(Called "Passionate Revenge" on Tubi. And I'm assuming it's the rated-R version because no one "bares it all" as someone claimed.)

So, a woman who suspects her fiancee of cheating decides to help a married man cheat? Kind of makes you not care about her own problems. Definitely doesn't. She's the type of antagonist that reminds you of think of when women say "I don't owe his wife/girlfriend anything" and "He's the one in a relationship" when they want to justify engaging in cheating with a man who already has a partner. Very selfish, especially given that they want people to care when their own heart is broken.

This film is poorly acted and edited. I guess a compliment I can give them is that the cheating husband and the selfish woman he cheats with both have nice bodies. It's amusing in a trashy sort of why. It did have me talking at the TV a time or two. It'd be fun to watch with a group so we can laugh at the nonsense and critique the fashion.

Friend of the Family II aka
allmoviesfan8 January 2023
Warning: Spoilers
As muuch as you wanted Shauna O'Brien as Elke to be around your house in Friend of the Family, the completely unrelated sequel - aside from O'Brien's presence, playing a completely different role - you DON'T want O'Brien's character anywhere near your house or your family.

On a business trip, Alex meets Linda. They acknowledge being in relationships but sleep together anyway. Twice. Linda confesses her love for Alex and he reciprocates but really doesn't mean it, leaving a note behind when he heads home.

Having witnessed the affair, Linda's fiance kills himself and Linda heads up to San Francisco where Alex lives, getting a job as nanny for his young son, whilst blackmailing Alex into sex. She's also sleeping with his brother-in-law as part of a scheme to take revenge on Alex and his family.

A lot darker than the first Friend of the Family, but still stacked with some very passionate sex scenes.

Get the UNRATED version! Shauna O'Brien in all of her glory.
insomniac_rod22 July 2004
Warning: Spoilers
There's something about Shauna...

*Spoilers* "Friend Of The Family II" as many have pointed out, it's not a sequel. It follows the same formula of a sexy woman that seduces an entire family. But this time, unlike in the original, the female lead (Shauna O'Brien) only has sex with men.

Mrs. O'Brien steals the show with her sexual, seductive performance. In this movie she looks at her best; I don't know if it's the hair, her husky but sexy voice, her perfect body, or her beautiful face. She's just simply spectacular. With her looks, she's one of the most desirable women on the B-movie industry. She wears skimpy and sexy clothes although not as provocative like in the original. She wears a low cut purple dress, a long black skirt, a short skimpy flowered dress, and bright lingerie.

The sex scenes are long, very graphic, and intense. The first sex scene involves O'Brien seducing Robinson for the first time. It starts with O'Brien only wearing sexy blue lingerie and so on. The scene is very long and features kinky positions, vivid camera angles, loud moans, and focuses mainly on O'Brien's facial and body expressions. The scene is interrupted by some carnaval footage but it doesn't affects at all. The kinkiest of the sex scenes.

The second sex scene involves again O'Brien and Robinson in the same hotel room. The scene is short compared to the first one and has a few memorable positions and moans. She even wears the same blue lingerie.

The third sex scene is between Robinson and the sensual Jenna Bodnar. It's quite long, sexy, and kinky. They perform many positions which help to display Bodnar's magnificent breasts (for example, when she avidly rides him in two different manners).

The fourth scene is very steamy and intriguing. O'Brien seduces Robinson on his own home. She wears the shortest and skimpiest lingerie and then they get on it until the last doggy style sex scene. My second favorite.

The fifth scene is probably the best and most memorable in the movie. It involves O'Brien seducine Robinson's brother in law. The scene is long, sexy, provocative, and is without a doubt every teenager boy's dream! She enters his room, takes off her black skirt, starts kissing him, and then the wild sex starts. The very last moments of the scene are truly provocative and display O'Brien's natural beauty. She moans a lot and makes memorable facial expressions. She MAKES the scene.

The sixth and last sex scene is between O'Brien and Rector. It's a hot scene where O'Brien, wearing a short sexy dress, has sex with Rector's character. He takes her from behind and pushes her to a wall, then he takes off her clothes with gentle kisses and touches her until they get on it over a desk. The sexiest scene.

So there you go, the best Shauna O'Brien movie to date. She's sexy and a complete professional. It's obvious that her acting is professional and I wish I would know a nanny like her! Get the unrated version because it has all the complete kinky sex scenes and moans.

I would recommend you to watch all of O'Brien's scenes. Not only the sex scenes, but for example, when she's lying with her sexy lingerie on Byron's bed or in the office's couch. She owns this movie. Recommended for any soft core sex fan or overall, anyone who want a great erotic flick.

Very humourous
darkwing_duck18 April 2000
It's good if you like soft-core erotica and looking for a good laugh. The best is at the end; you'll love Shauna O'Brien's acting. When I saw that end scene with the cops, I couldn't stop laughing.

As for sex, there is enough of it. I think more nude shots of Shauna would have been nicer, though. And more girls than just Shauna and the wife would have been nice. In these movies, one expects a good orgy!

I wish she would be my nanny too.
bigpappa1--21 June 2000
Warning: Spoilers
WARNING PLOT SPOILERS!!!!!!!! But I doubt your watching this for the plot.

Not a true sequel, but features the same lead actress from the first one. This time she has a brief affair with a married man. They do it twice in the same night, but then he goes back to his wife. When he gets back to his wife they do it too. Then it's off for another business trip for him. While he is gone, his wife hires a nanny. Wonder who it could be? It's the same person he had a one night stand with. When he returns home he acts shocked. At night he goes to her room and yells get out, but instead of her doing that, they get it on to. Then she goes about screwing everybody he knows. She has wild sex with the brother-in-law, and sex with another guy on top of a desk, she also does it a couple more times with that other guy. Then she goes crazy and reliezes it's time to kill somebody. She does and displays some rather bad acting while she is at it to.

Doesn't have as much sex as part 1, but much more explicit though. Film offers great sex and women, but nothing else. Everybody has good sex, but none of them can act. Rating: 5.5 out of 10.

Shauna O'Brien and Paul Michael Robinson...
m. cool29 November 1999
Need I say more. When I saw this movie it was titled "Innocence Betrayed" (it had more nudity than the rated version of "Friend Of The Family II"). Shauna O'Brien has great positions, Paul Michael Robinson has all the right moves. It starts off in a diner where Paul Michael Robinson (a married man) is entertaining a client. Shauna has a fight with her (disgusting [w.o being harsh]) boyfriend. Anyway the boyfriend leaves her with the bill and Robinson says that he'll bring her home and cover the bill. He brings her home...he is about to leave...but she says "would u like coffee?"...well he stays so they have wild jungle sex...the scene is so long and they are so kinky. His manly noises, her flexibility. Anyway...he then has sex a second time the next night where he realizes he's wrong and must return 2 his wife. He goes back to his wife where she gives it 2 him good...she had a better body. Anyway...Robinson's wife's brother (Sid Farley) comes to stay for the summer. Then...Robinson must go back on another business trip. He leaves his wife alone to interview nanny's and guess who she hires??? : Miss Shauna O'Brien. He get's back and is so suprised...He keeps it a secret and one night he sneaks down 2 her room and tells her to get out...but she'll tell his wife, Maddy of his infidelity. Uh-oh...He has to make love to her. Well...Byron (Robinson's brother-in-law) catches Robinson screwing O'Brien and confronts O'Brien about it. She tells Byron how Robinson raped her and forced her to have sex with him. She seduces Byron and those 2 have the best sex I've ever seen in a movie like this. After they have had sex...O'Brien starts to try to kill Maddy and Robinson...she has completely brainwashed Byron so that she is in total control...she seduces Robinson's friend (Jeff Rector)and then won't leave Robinson alone...finally Alex has put up with enough, confesses to Maddy about O'Brien but Byron steps in and says how he raped her...The conclusion is awesome. If you want a good sex movie that is also a good suspense movie then rent this...be sure to get the Unrated version or see it off of HBO or TMC...but Paul Michael Robinson has the best body I have ever seen and also is a great actor...Shauna O'Brien is beautiful but could use a few acting lessons...Jeff Rector is a great lay to O'Brien...and Jenna Bodner (Maddy) has a beautiful body and can act. But the best part of this movie (even though Paul Michael Robinson did have an awesome beefcookie body) was Sid Farley...he has all the right moves in the scene between him and O'Brien and gives it to her so good I'm surprised she didn't leave Robinson alone and find her next obsession with his brother-in-law Byron

Perves will be in heaven!
Jamie-8527 September 1999
Warning: Spoilers
WARNING: Contains spoilers....As far as skin flicks go this is probably a pretty good rent. It concerns the oft-told tale of a brief and oh so steamy affair between a married man and a seductive woman while he is away on business and her subsequent stalking of him, by moving into his house and becoming a nanny. After that he is forced (poor man) into a number of steamy encounters with the seductress or he will be exposed. Plus, for no reason at all she hops into bed (and on desks) with a couple of other acquaintances as well. If it didn't overrun the Oscars ceremony it is because it is crap. It does have a plot, but one so obvious and dull that it doesn't take much to work out what is going to happen even a couple of minutes into the future. But the sex is great, with plenty of new and rather painful looking positions being documented and Ms O'Brien showing herself to be a true seductress. Worth a rent, but remember not to expect much except some great erotica.
