Surreal comedy
Fred Lincoln was in a cutesy mood when he shot this forgotten VHS feature, worth revisiting as a Lisa Ann starrer plus featuring very goofy humor and in-jokes.
A container stamped "Motel Flesh" indicates perhaps a shooting title, but what we get is a series of sex scenes with nutsy comedy content. Lisa Ann plays it straight, not reacting to the craziness that surrounds her.
Overall, Lincoln's approach is very similar to that adopted a decade later for a series of surreal Vivid features by writer-director David Stanley. Even Stanley's gimmick of a guy in a gorilla suit appearing at will is used here first by Lincoln, with Joey Silvera the man inside the suit. Just as Stanley is addicted to rock & roll, Fred has characters frequently quoting song lyrics: Nick East announces himself as "I was just a traveling man"; Tom Byron plays a waiter reciting the menu as a bunch of Elvis song titles, while giving a terrible impression of the king: When Lisa asks about a place to eat, catlady Amanda Addams replies: "You can get anything you want at Alice's Restaurant".
Addams behaving like a pussycat and wearing both a RIcky's cat costume as well as a sexy fishnet body stocking, is quite impressive here, though Lisa's big jugs are still the main draw. The two of them unite with hotel maid Jenteal for a hot Sapphic 3-way. Lisa and Nick play escaped mental patients, accounting for some of the strange behavior, while Buck Adams as the front desk clerk has fun acting peculiarly, starting the show by f*cking an inflatable sex doll.
