Nick Zedd's WHOREGASM follows no real narrative-structure or storyline at all, but visually it's pretty interesting, and for an art-house styled short film, I found it to be relatively decent for what it is. I'm not all that into that sort of material in general, but for some odd reason that I can't really explain, I still found it kinda engaging.
The whole film is basically a bunch of old-school hard-core sex-loops type footage that has other weird stuff interspersed and/or "overlapped" with the porn footage. At one point it switches to scenes of a girl and a cross-dresser making out while more weird stuff happens in the background. There's a few odd "flashes" of some more disturbing pictures - one including a man holding a young boy by the arm who has his underpants pulled down, while the man behind him has a raging boner. I couldn't tell if this photo was somehow altered to put these two "characters" in a compromising position, or if this is indeed a real picture - either way, it was a bit disconcerting. A lot of the "overlapped" film also contain scenes from another of Zedd's short-films, POLICE STATE...
It's hard for me to say why I sorta dug this short - I mean, it's easy to say that the hard-core porn footage didn't hurt anything, but it's not really that. It's more that the whole production was just sorta "mesmerizing" in it's own way. Again - this sort of blatant art-house cinema isn't really my thing, but based against other such material that I've seen (and generally disliked...), I give this one a pretty solid rating...7/10
