Great comedy
gaus6 November 1999
A great comedy and one of the best of the Olsenbanden-series. Acting and plot is good, and the movie manages to give you some laughs. Opsalh, Byring and Holm gives a good performance as the Olsenbanden-gang who once again tries to steal some millions.

Recommended.

The best Olsenbanden-movie

Warning: Spoilers
This is my absolute favorite amongst the 14 movies made with this hilarious gang of small-time crooks. The humor in this one is top notch and the whole movie feels a lot more professional than the previous in the series.

The sinister helpers of the Baron who do everything for the family is supreme and police chief Hermansen is really becoming more of a crook than Egon Olsen ever was, and Olsen himself is really a good guy in this one and only want the persons who screwed him over to suffer.

The best scene in this movie, perhaps the best scene in Norwegian movie history, is the break-in in Nationalteateret (National Theater) where Olsenbanden uses the classical music score "Elverhøi" in sort of a musical to hide the sound of them busting down the walls to get to the "treasure". I'm struggling to keep my tears back every time I watch this scene because of it's ingeniousness. This scene alone kicks the whole movie up two stars even if it's only ten minutes long.

If you're backlogging Norwegian movies and can't find the time to watch more than one Olsenbanden-movie - this is definitely the one!
