Boy George has expressed disappointment after learning of Evander Holyfield's recent controversial comments about homosexuality.
Holyfield was warned by Big Brother in last night's show after describing homosexuality as a "choice" and comparing it to a disability, appearing to say that it was something that could be "fixed".
After learning of the remarks, Boy George took to Twitter to admit that he had been a fan of Holyfield before.
"Shame, I had such admiration for Mr Evander Holyfield, he seemed dignified and I was sure he was a cool, smart, giant!" he wrote.
The singer also tweeted a follower that "false lashes can be fixed, not homosexuals", and added: "I think anyone visiting this country for any reason should be cautioned and forced to swear allegiance to 'Queens & country!!"
He went on: "At customs there should be a huge sign! Welcome to Britain, racism, sexism, homophobia and bad hair are not tolerated!
